LATE NARENGBAM IBOTOMBI SINGH
Narengbam Ibotombi Singh, an M.A. in Political Science from Guwahati University was born on 8th October 1934 in Wangjing Sorokhaibam Leikai, Wangjing, Thoubal District, Manipur. He is also a Nipun (Master) in musicology from Bhatkhande Music Institute, Lucknow. He served and retired as Principal of Y.K. College, Wangjing in his best capacities. He is a reformist of the rural mass. He founded the IRE-Group of Institution in (1984) and also the Integrated Rural Development Service Organisation-IRDSO, a non-governmental Organisation (1987). He was a recipient of Bharat Excellency Award. He was also a chartered member of Lions Club of Thoubal.
